From Waste to Wear, The Textile Recycling Journey.

We support textile recycling processes that save water and energy and avoid carbon emissions. We recycle fibers into new color ranges without using chemicals or dyes. A global hub for recycling post-consumer wool sweaters, saving them from incineration or landfills.

We believe humans are part of nature. Our place within it is to support and protect the abundance it offers. Wool is one of the oldest natural fibers and is a gift from nature. Growing and harvesting wool requires great care from humans to treat it as a beautiful resource. We believe part of this caring system is to re-utilize wool at the end of its cycle. This supports a holistic mindset for the protection of natural resources and future generations.

Our History

Our history started with the idea of making the world more sustainable and helping the textile industry recycle wool. As we grew, we connected with global partners and embraced innovation, pushing boundaries to reduce waste.

2016

A Sustainable Idea Ignited

In 2016, our journey began with a collaboration with Renewcell, where we provided raw materials to support their mission of sustainability.
2017

Inspiration from the Legend

By 2017, the Datini dream took shape, inspired by Francesco Di Marco Datini in Italy, a merchant whose legacy embodied innovation and global trade. This inspiration became the foundation of our company’s commitment to recycled wool.
2019

Datini Takes Form

In 2019, Datini was officially established, marking the start of our mission to transform post-consumer wool waste. We embraced cutting-edge technology and collaborated with industry experts, scientists, and innovators to bring our vision to life.
2021

A Global Impact Journey

By 2021, we were making a global impact, attending international exhibitions and summits across major countries such as Germany, Italy, France, the UK, Japan, Korea, the USA, and the Netherlands, establishing our brand on a global scale.
